Dancefloor hire is the supply, installation and removal of a purpose-built floor surface laid into a venue to give an event a defined place to dance. Avari Events has provided custom dancefloors for weddings, parties and corporate events across London and the Home Counties since 2009. Our floors are modular, so the finished size is set by your guest numbers and the shape of the room rather than by a fixed panel. Finishes run from sleek white and black gloss to starlit surfaces threaded with points of light and programmable LED floors that shift colour through the evening. Any floor can carry bespoke vinyl graphics, a monogram or a company logo printed in-house. Installation levels over carpet and most venue floor finishes, with edging ramps around the perimeter, and our own crew lays and lifts the whole thing.
Which dancefloor finish should we choose?
White gloss is the brightest and most photographed, reflecting the lighting back into the room and suiting a classic, elegant scheme. Black gloss does the opposite, receding so the light and the people on it become the subject. A starlit floor sets fixed points of light into a dark surface for a quiet, romantic effect that reads beautifully on camera. A programmable LED floor changes colour and pattern through the evening and suits a higher-energy room or a branded corporate event.
How much does dancefloor hire cost?
Dancefloor hire starts from £550. The quotation reflects the finished size of the floor, the surface you choose, whether bespoke graphics or a logo are applied, and the installation window your venue allows. Delivery, levelling, installation and collection are always included.
What size floor do we need?
A useful rule is to allow room for a third to half of your guests to be dancing at any one time: few rooms have everybody up at once, and an oversized floor makes even a busy party look sparse. We size the floor against your guest numbers and the room’s proportions during the survey, and we will happily recommend something smaller than you were expecting if that is what the room wants.
Can the floor carry our names or branding?
Yes. Monograms, wedding dates, motifs and company logos are printed as bespoke vinyl by our design and print team and applied to the surface, colour-matched to the rest of the styling. For corporate work the same artwork can carry through to the stage set and screens.
Which events do you install floors for?
Dancefloors are supplied for weddings, celebrations, receptions and gala dinners, award ceremonies and charity events throughout London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex and Harrow. They are usually booked alongside music and entertainment.

Our systems level over carpet and most venue floor finishes, with edging ramps around the perimeter so there is no trip hazard. Uneven or sloping floors are noted at the site survey and packed accordingly.
What is the difference between starlit and LED?
A starlit floor has fixed points of light set into a dark surface for a subtle, romantic effect. An LED floor is a programmable lit surface that can change colour and pattern through the evening, which suits a higher-energy room.
How long does the floor take to install?
Most floors are laid in one to two hours, before the room is dressed. We schedule the build into the venue's access window along with the rest of the styling.
