Event Styling in West London

Avari Events is a West London event styling and décor studio working from Kensington and Hammersmith out through Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Hounslow and the Thames-side venues towards Richmond. This is our nearest quadrant, our Harrow workshop is twenty to forty minutes away along the A40 or the A312, so early morning access slots, mid-install collections and late changes are all straightforward here. West London’s venues skew polished: five-star hotel ballrooms, private members’ clubs, palace orangeries, riverside houses and grand civic rooms, nearly all of which operate an approved supplier list and a detailed set of load-in conditions. We design to those conditions. A mandap, a draped ceiling, a floral installation or a stage set is proportioned to the actual room, built in our own workshop, and installed inside the window the venue gives us, with the paperwork the venue expects submitted well before the day.

What does styling a West London hotel ballroom involve?

A good hotel ballroom is already handsome, so the job is rarely to cover it. It is to give it a focal point and a temperature. We usually build a single strong feature, a ceremony backdrop, a head table installation or a full mandap, then let uplighting carry the colour story across the walls and pillars. Tables are dressed to match rather than to compete.

Where a ballroom has a low or serviced ceiling, we adjust structure heights and use ground-supported drape rather than rigging, which keeps us within the venue’s technical limits and the fire officer’s.

We take it seriously rather than treat it as an obstacle. Where we are already listed, the process is short. Where we are not, we submit our insurance, method statements, risk assessments and flame-retardancy certification directly to the venue and manage the accreditation ourselves, so you are not passing documents back and forth between two suppliers.

Can you provide entertainment and finishing touches too?

Yes. Music and entertainment, dancefloors and photo experiences can be arranged alongside the styling, coordinated by the same project manager who owns the room. It keeps the schedule in one place and stops the evening running on two competing timelines.
