Statement Table Centrepieces

A table centrepiece is the styled arrangement at the centre of each guest table, typically a vessel, a floral or candle element and the small pieces around its base, that sets the tone of a dining room and gives every seated guest something considered to look at. Avari Events has curated and hired centrepieces for weddings, corporate dinners and private celebrations across London and the Home Counties since 2009. Our collection runs from crystal dishes and lanterns to candelabras, tall and low vases and refined decorative accessories, finished with mirror plates, candle holders and scatters. Pieces can be taken as dry hire for you to dress yourself, or delivered, styled and collected by our own crew. Either way, the aim is a tablescape that feels cohesive with the rest of the room rather than assembled from separate parts.

What’s included in centrepiece hire?

Each table is specified as a complete setting rather than a single object. That means the central vessel, candelabra, lantern, crystal dish or vase, plus its floral or candle element, the mirror plate or riser beneath it, candle holders and tea lights, and decorative scatters to finish the base. Table numbers, printed menus and place cards can be produced alongside by our design and print team so the stationery and the styling share one palette.

How much does table centrepiece hire cost?

Centrepieces are quoted per table, starting from £45. The rate depends on the vessel chosen, whether the arrangement uses silk or fresh flowers, the height and complexity of the build, and whether you take the pieces on dry hire or ask us to style and collect them. Larger events are usually quoted as a complete tablescape alongside the linen and chair covers.

Should we choose tall or low centrepieces?

Both, in most rooms. Tall candelabras and raised vases draw the eye upward and give a high-ceilinged ballroom vertical rhythm, but they need to sit clear of sightlines so guests can talk across the table. Low arrangements keep the conversation open and read better in close photography. Alternating heights down the length of a room gives you the drama of the tall pieces without walling off any table.

Can the centrepieces match the rest of the styling?

That is the point of specifying them with everything else. The metal finish on a candelabra, the colour of the linen beneath it and the temperature of the uplighting around it all have to agree, and the flowers are chosen in the same conversation as the floral design for the wider room. Seeing them together at the design meeting is far more reliable than approving each element in isolation.
