End-to-End Event Management
Full-service event management in London. Venue research, supplier coordination, scheduling and on-the-day management from the in-house Avari Events team.
Event management is the professional planning, coordination and on-the-day running of an event: researching and securing the venue, building the schedule, appointing and coordinating suppliers, and directing everything on site so the day follows the plan. Avari Events has managed weddings, corporate events and special occasions across London and the Home Counties since 2009, with an in-house team spanning event managers, operations and logistics, our own manufacturing workshop and the crew who install on site. That structure matters: when the people designing the event, building its structures and running the day all sit under one roof, coordination happens internally rather than across a chain of suppliers. We handle venue research, budgets, scheduling, supplier liaison and on-the-day management from load-in to pack-down, so your attention stays on the event rather than on the delivery of it.
What does the event management service cover?
Venue research and assessment, budget structuring, the production schedule and running order, supplier appointment and coordination, site surveys and venue liaison, technical planning, and on-the-day management from load-in through to pack-down. Where we are also styling the event, the draping, lighting, AV and build teams are coordinated internally as part of the same schedule.
Why does in-house delivery make a difference?
Because most event failures are coordination failures rather than creative ones. A schedule slips, an access window closes, one supplier’s build blocks another’s, and each handover between companies is a place where information gets lost. Our event managers, operations and logistics team, manufacturing team and event crew all work for the same business, so those handovers happen between colleagues who can simply speak to each other.
Can you manage an event you are not styling?
Yes. We coordinate caterers, photographers, entertainment, florists and production companies you have appointed independently, bringing them into one schedule and one point of contact. Many clients come to us for management alone after an earlier event where every supplier was excellent individually and nobody was holding the whole picture.
How early should we bring you in?
As early as possible. The decisions made at the very start, venue, date, format, the shape of the budget, determine most of what follows, and they are the hardest and most expensive to revisit later. Being involved from that point is where management earns its fee most clearly.
Which events do you manage?
We manage weddings, conferences, award ceremonies, receptions and gala dinners, charity events, cultural celebrations, exhibitions and sporting events throughout London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex and Harrow.
How do we arrange a first conversation?
Tell us what you are planning, when and roughly where, and we will talk through how much support the event needs. Get in touch to begin.
Frequently asked questions
What does an event manager actually do on the day?
They hold the schedule and absorb the problems. Suppliers are directed, the running order is kept to, and anything that goes wrong is resolved before it reaches you, which is the point of the role.
Can you help us find a venue?
Yes. Venue research is part of the service, and we assess options on their practical realities as well as their appearance: access, capacity, ceiling height, power, noise limits and curfews all shape what an event can be.
Do you work with suppliers we have already booked?
Regularly. We coordinate caterers, photographers, florists and entertainment you have chosen independently, folding them into one schedule alongside anything we are supplying ourselves.
Is management included when you also style the event?
Coordination of our own teams is always included. Full event management covering third-party suppliers, venue liaison and the whole running order is a separate service, quoted to the scope involved.
How early should we appoint an event manager?
As early as you can. The decisions with the largest consequences, venue, date, format and budget shape, are all made at the beginning, and that is where good management saves the most money and difficulty.
