The Hive Event Styling & Décor

Event styling at The Hive London, Edgware: 13 halls across 45 acres, up to 700 guests, and the Amber Suite dressed for weddings and celebrations.

The Hive London is a contemporary event venue set across 45 acres on Camrose Avenue in Edgware, North London, offering 13 purpose-built halls with flexible layouts that suit everything from intimate gatherings to celebrations of up to 700 guests. At its centre is the Amber Suite, a luxury space designed for standout weddings and special occasions, with refined interiors and adaptable styling that bring a West End feel to North London. The venue is well suited to cultural and faith-based celebrations, Asian, Jewish, African and interfaith weddings, and Mehndi Nights, as well as Bar Mitzvahs, conferences, birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and corporate events, all supported by ample on-site parking and a professional in-house events team. Our workshop is fifteen to twenty minutes away in Harrow, which makes early installs and same-day collections here genuinely straightforward.

How do you style the Amber Suite?

With restraint at the edges and confidence at the centre. The Amber Suite is already a finished, refined room, so the work is not to cover it but to give it a single decisive focal point, a full-width stage set, a ceremony backdrop or a four-pillar mandap, and then let a coherent colour temperature carry across the walls.

Uplighting does most of the atmospheric work, shifting warmer as the evening moves from ceremony to dinner to dancing, and table dressing echoes the focal build rather than introducing a second idea.

What does styling for 700 guests actually require?

Stock depth and planning discipline. A room at that scale exposes any supplier who is mixing product lines or improvising: the design reads at the front and disintegrates toward the back. We own our drape, staging, centrepieces, linen and lighting, so a floor of seventy tables is dressed identically end to end.

We also plan sightlines for the furthest guest first. That usually means a taller focal build than the room appears to need and, where the hall is genuinely deep, an LED video wall so the couple or the speakers remain visible without the screen dominating the décor.

Which packages are available at The Hive?

Our three venue packages apply, all inclusive of VAT and not priced by guest count.

  • Reception Package: £1,000. A 20ft 3D backdrop with white base, coloured curtains, hanging crystals and uplights; table centres; LED uplighting for the venue.
  • Civil Ceremony & Reception: £1,850. White aisle carpet, civil backdrop, pew-end floral arrangements, head table backdrop, table centres and LED uplighting.
  • Asian Wedding & Reception: £4,500. A 20ft x 12ft x 1ft stage, white carpet for stage and aisle, a four-pillar premium mandap, foyer display, head table backdrop, table centres and LED uplighting.

For the largest halls we scale the stage and backdrop up from the standard specification, we will confirm exactly what your chosen hall needs before quoting.

Which hall should we choose?

That depends on your guest count, your ceremony format and how the day flows between spaces. With 13 halls to choose from it is worth deciding the styling and the room together rather than one after the other, and we are happy to walk the site with you and the venue’s team before anything is committed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Amber Suite at The Hive?

The Amber Suite is the venue's luxury space at the centre of the site, designed for standout weddings and special occasions with refined interiors and adaptable styling. It is often described as bringing a West End feel to North London, and it responds particularly well to a single strong focal build.

Can you style for 700 guests at The Hive?

Yes. The venue's capacity runs to 700 across 13 purpose-built halls, and we hold the stock depth to dress a room of that size with matching product from the first table to the last, no substitutions partway across the floor.

Do you style cultural and faith-based ceremonies at The Hive?

Regularly. The venue is well suited to Asian, Jewish, African and interfaith weddings as well as Mehndi Nights, and we build to each tradition's conventions rather than adapting a generic design, including four-pillar premium mandaps for Hindu and Sikh ceremonies.

Is there parking and access for your vehicles at The Hive?

Yes. The site has ample on-site parking across its 45 acres, which makes loading considerably easier than at most London venues. We still agree the specific hall, route and access window with the in-house events team before the day.

How far is The Hive from your workshop?

The Hive is on Camrose Avenue in Edgware, HA8 6AG, around fifteen to twenty minutes from our Harrow workshop. It is one of our nearest venues, so early installs and same-day collections are simple to arrange.
