Event Styling in Berkshire

Berkshire sits about an hour west of our Harrow workshop on the M4 or M40, and it is a county we treat as standard coverage rather than an outlying exception: loads are dispatched early, crews are sized for the distance, and large builds begin the previous afternoon so nothing depends on a clear motorway. The county’s venues are distinctive: racecourse hospitality suites, Thames-side hotels and island estates, Georgian and Victorian country houses in mature grounds, and a strong corporate hospitality calendar alongside the weddings. That mix means our Berkshire work often combines décor with production, branded stage sets, screens, sound and lighting, as well as the florals, tablescapes and drape that dress the room around it.

What does corporate event styling in Berkshire usually involve?

Berkshire’s corporate calendar leans toward hospitality: race days, client entertaining, product launches and awards dinners in suites that are functional rather than beautiful. The brief is usually to make a neutral room feel like the brand for a day and then return it exactly as found.

We build branded staging and set on our own bench, add LED walls or projection where content matters, and use lighting to change the temperature of a room that cannot be structurally altered. Dining décor is then designed to the same palette so the evening does not look like a different event.

How do you approach Berkshire’s riverside and country-house venues?

Slowly and with a survey. Riverside venues bring narrow approaches, gravel drives, marquee flooring and a genuine weather contingency; country houses bring listed fabric, fixing restrictions and grounds that vehicles cannot simply drive across. We resolve the route, the power and the protection before a design is finalised, which is why our Berkshire installs rarely need improvising.

Which Berkshire occasions do you take on?

Weddings and civil ceremonies through Windsor, Ascot and Bray; Asian weddings and receptions around Slough and Reading; corporate hospitality and awards across the county; charity balls, milestone celebrations and summer parties in the country-house grounds.

Does distance change the quality of the finish?

It should not, and we build the schedule so that it does not. Extra crew, earlier dispatch and a full spares load are what absorb an hour of motorway. The same project manager surveys, designs, installs and stays for the event.
