What does education event production involve?

For a ceremonial event, a graduation or prize-giving, it means a stage and backdrop, lectern and microphones, screens carrying names and photographs, lighting that reads well on camera, and streaming for families who cannot attend.

For teaching and training, it means projection or display systems, integrated sound, and equipment specified to be used daily by staff rather than by a touring crew. Both begin with a site visit and a plan for the specific room.

What audio visual do schools and universities need?

Sound is the first problem to solve. A sports hall or refectory is acoustically hostile, so we specify speakers to suit, a line array for a large hall, point source for a smaller space, with a microphone-equipped lectern and wireless handheld or headset microphones for presenters and student speakers.

LED video walls, screens or projectors carry slides, name graphics and live camera feeds so the back of the hall sees what the front row does. Our audio visual team supplies a technician to operate it live.

Can graduations and prize-givings be streamed?

Yes. Live streaming with multi-camera vision and a clean audio feed lets grandparents and relatives overseas watch the ceremony as it happens, and the recording becomes a lasting record for the institution as well as the family.

How do you make a ceremony feel like an occasion?

Who coordinates the event on the day?

An Avari production manager runs the schedule, rehearses with staff and speakers, and works on radio with the crew. Our event management team handles access times, contingency and de-rig, which matters when a hall has to return to teaching use the next morning.
