Custom Event Builds & CNC Fabrication

Custom event builds and CNC fabrication is the design and manufacture of one-off physical structures for events, bars, stands, sets, arches, plinths and decorative features, made to a specific brief rather than hired from stock. Avari Events runs its own workshop in Harrow, where experienced CAD operators and advanced CNC machinery produce bespoke pieces with precision and consistency. Because a CNC machine cuts directly from the drawing, what is approved on screen is what arrives on site, to the millimetre, and repeated elements match one another exactly. The same workshop hand-carves the mandaps in our own collection, builds exhibition stands and bars for corporate clients, and fabricates the structures behind our stage sets and floral installations. Every build is then delivered and installed by our own event crew rather than handed to a third party.

What do you build in the workshop?

Bespoke bars and back-bar structures, exhibition stands, stage sets and scenery flats, entrance arches and gates, plinths and pedestals, carved decorative panels, signage structures, and the frames and armatures behind floral installations and mandaps. If a concept requires something the hire market does not offer, this is where it gets made.

Why build rather than hire?

Because hired pieces impose their dimensions on your design, and bespoke pieces take them from it. A bar built to the exact run of your venue’s wall, an arch sized to a specific doorway, a stand shaped around your brand’s geometry: none of these are available to hire, and the difference is immediately visible to guests even when they cannot say why. Building also allows a brand’s identity to be expressed in three dimensions rather than only printed onto a flat surface.

How does the process work?

We start from your brief or your designer’s drawings and develop them as CAD, checking dimensions against the venue’s access routes, floor loading and ceiling height. You see the piece as a 3D rendering before production. The workshop then machines and assembles it, finishes are applied, and our crew transports and installs it on site. Anything printed or wrapped is handled alongside by our design and print team.

We build for exhibitions, conferences, award ceremonies, weddings, fashion shows and themed celebrations across London and the Home Counties, for clients ranging from private hosts to brand agencies.
